Ethiopian Christmas, also known as Ganna or Lidet, is a holiday celebrated on January 7th that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. At Debre Bisrat Cathedral the event will be held with communal celebration that focuses on faith on Jan 6 starting from 7PM with Mahlet and Jan 7, 12 AM Liturgy.
