Memorial Service

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."  John 11:25-26.

Memorial prayer service in the Ethiopian orthodox church is known as "ጸሎተ ፍትሐት" (Tselot'e Fit'hat). The prayer is offered to seek forgiveness for the deceased, mercy, and rest for the soul. The memorial prayer is also deeply rooted in the faith and traditions of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, reflecting the community's spiritual support for the deceased and their families. If you would like the church to provide a memorial service for a loved one, please complete the form below.
